important notice regarding Coronavirus ( Covid-19)
/As of Thursday 19th March all council operated buildings within the country park will be closed to the public. The children’s play area will also be closed until further notice.
The main gates will continue to open between the hours of 9am and 5pm.

Network Rail - Closure of Pitsea Hall Lane Sunday 26th January 2020
/Please be advised that Network Rail will be carrying out major improvement works on Pitsea level crossing. The crossingdeck will be lifted out and will not be put back down until the last thing as rails are being replaced, replacing ballast, then tamping with a machine to correct track geometry.
Therefore, there will be a road closure in place for PITSEA LEVEL CROSSING over the weekend, starting from 00.00 hrs Saturday Night 25th January 2020 through to 0300hrs Monday 27th January 2020.
The crossing will be out of use for vehicles.
Wat Tyler Park will be open from 9am - 5pm but the Centres & café will be closed.
