October Half Term Activities 2021
/Lights Camera, Action’ Event in Blunts Cottage
25th October – 29th October 2021
There are weird things going on in our cottage this half-term.
Pictures that follow your gaze, pictures that move, boxes that act like eyeballs, rooms that shrink things, secret messages and keyhole spying... see what happens when you play around with the rules of light and how it can trick our brains! Bring your phone camera: your friends won’t believe their eyes!
Half hour slots are available from 10am to 3pm, Monday to Friday 25th to 29th October 21
Cost: £5 per person
Age suitability: 3+
Call us on 01268 205267 between 10am-3pm to secure your spot.
Special requirements: our cottage is old and has stairs. The main activities here are also sight-based. If you need adaptations for your needs, please le us know in advance and we will gladly adapt things for you as much as possible.
A short walk is needed for the secret keyhole experience

Pitsea Hall Lane Level Crossing Closure
/We have been advised that on Saturday 9th October 2021 @ 23:59 - Monday 11th October 2021 @ 02:00 the level crossing at Pitsea Station will be closed to vehicles.
WE HAVE NOW TAKEN THE ACTION TO KEEP THE PARK CLOSED, THERE WILL BE NO ACCESS INTO THE COUNTRY PARK ON SUNDAY 10TH OCTOBER 2021
New Sculpture at the Marina
/Bosun Marine run by Alan commissioned this and we think it's fab. As you approach the marina car park you will find this beautiful carved Whale Tail.
A new addition to the marina accompanying the Dolphin and talks of another sea creature by the Pirate Ship.
